An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate (teacher posts: within four months; SNA posts: for the duration of the school year).

The Board of Management wishes to invite expressions of interest in a permanent vacancy, with initial duties in Mainstream Classroom from teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Dublin.

An expression of interest should be forwarded in writing to the Chairperson of the Board of Management by 2pm on Tuesday the 30th day of May 2023, being 5 calendar days from the date of this advertisement.

Dynamic and motivated teacher desired to join our dedicated and enthusiastic staff. The ability to work as a team member is a necessity in order to facilitate successful integration.

The position is for a 5th class mixed - 9 boys and 18 girls....27 students.
The candidate will need to have experience working with children with extensive needs. The class also has a full-time Special Needs Assistant in the class who works with three pupils – two diagnosed with ADHD and the other with ASD and epilepsy.

Experience of teaching in a mixed senior school setting, with older children with challenging / oppositional behaviour would be of benefit. An ability and willingness to partake in curricular change and to participate in DEIS planning would be advantageous.

The candidate must be willing to teach in an ASD / AEN class, if requested – the school has been sanctioned by DES for the building of a new two - classroom AEN building with two classes ready to start in September 2023.

The Board of Management reserves the right to place the class teacher in any class setting depending on the needs of the school.
