An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate (teacher posts: within four months; SNA posts: for the duration of the school year).

St. Bernadette's Senior N.S. is the base school for the North Clondalkin / Lucan East Teacher Supply Panel. The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short-term substitutable leave.

Supply panel teachers will be appointed to St. Bernadette's Senior N.S. (the base school) under a fixed-term contract for one year. The supply teacher will have the same school holidays as the base school
plus their own EPV days – appointed from September 2023 until Friday 28th June 2024.

The supply panel serves 15 schools in the North Clondalkin and East Lucan area.
Successful applicants will be assigned to any of the schools in the cluster.
It is a great opportunity to gain valuable, short-term experience in a variety of class and school settings: mainstream classes, ASD special class, Early Start, junior and senior schools, DEIS and non-DEIS.
There are no Gaelscoileanna in the cluster.

Some of the schools in the cluster are Catholic schools so for this post you must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education.

Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015.
