It is essential that candidates should have experience of working in a Special Class with pupils with Complex Care Needs.
Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with the management of challenging behaviour and promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
Duties will include helping students with intimate care needs, toileting and eating.
Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Successful candidates will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the students at all times.
Appointments are subject to Garda Vetting and OHS requirements.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of the completed Panel Form 1 (P.F.1) with their application.
