The Board of Management, having initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 23rd day of June 2022, for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Meath . The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was 28th June. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to 12 noon on the 30th of June. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition. Initial duties will be in the ASD Early Intervention class.

Experience working in an ASD Unit, working with challenging behaviours, working with non or pre verbal children and extra SEN qualifications are essential. There are currently 2 Early Intervention Classes in our school and we are opening a 3rd ASD Early Intervention Class in the new school year.
St. Marys Primary School is a DEIS band 2 school and so experience working in a disadvantaged area is also desirable.
